The mission of the Shawnee Mass Transit District is to provide safe, affordable, efficient transportation to all of the citizens of Alexander, Johnson, Massac, Pulaski and Union Counties with emphasis on services to seniors, the disabled and the economically disadvantaged. The District will approach its mission in a way that will make these communities more livable, necessary services more available and maximize employment opportunities.
